First unveiled at the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience is a brand new system that will be making its appearance in every new Mercedes-Benz vehicle to come. The first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to get MBUX in Canada is the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The new Mercedes-Benz GLE also offers the redesigned infotainment system.
There are plenty of unique features that come with the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience. It all starts with a new and studied voice command system, which is designed to allow the driver to have natural conversations with the vehicle in order to adjust various settings. By using the voice command “Hey, Mercedes,” you can be connected to the vehicle. You can then ask for various things, such as to turn up the air conditioning or adjust the audio system. It’s impressive to see how this system works and how easily commands can be given. Saying something like “Hey, Mercedes, it’s hot in the car,” will have the vehicle turning up the air conditioning.
Another nifty feature of the MBUX is the artificial intelligence component. This AI is able to recognize and adapt to the preferences of the user. In other words, MBUX will adjust to and learn about your preferences in order to make your frequently used functions easier to access.
